25 things I used to not understand–until I started running. I just did number 10 on the list this morning!
I ran this morning–my first run in about a month, and my first run ever in cold temps (it was about 34 degrees). Had it been a little warmer, I think it would have been a good run. But my lungs aren’t use to working in the colder weather, but they will adjust. I had to take a lot more walk breaks than I wanted, but it’ll get better. For the most part, I stayed warm. I couldn’t find my headband ear warmer thing (yes, that is the technical term 
), but I work compression pants, tank, long-sleeved running jacket and gloves. Everything stayed pretty warm but my face, I’m sure it’s somewhere at my house, but I’ll probably just stop and buy one. I can tell you that my run on Sunday will not be first thing in the morning. I’m going to let it warm up a little first!
Unless something changes, I’m taking Spin to FL in December for the National Owner Handled Series Finals! It’ll be a really fast trip. Drive down on Thursday, show on Friday, and drive home on Saturday. It’s a shot in the dark, as I don’t recall ever showing to the Dal/Non-Sporting group judge. But it’ll be fun either way! I need to take him to a show before then to get him retrained….since he hasn’t been to a show since August!

My first Best in Junior Showmanship win. It was my 2nd weekend showing in juniors. I won my class the two days after this giving me 3 wins to move into Open the next show!
